Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Philippians 1:3 NLT

As I was reading the Christmas story I Luke 2, I began to rejoice and thank God for Jesus and His obedience to the Father’s will.

Then I began to meditate about Jesus all the provisions He has brought us. You know the world celebrates Christmas without Christ, which leads to emptiness. Religion acknowledges Him but leaves Him as a baby in a manger.

Oh, but we know that Jesus is not in a manger. He was raised from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God. Glory!! Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. Jesus is the Lamb, slain before the foundations of the earth. 

Jesus died, shed His blood so we can have eternal life. Jesus went from a manger, to the cross, then ascended to the throne for us.

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!

Jesus came as a Lamb but will return as a Lion. Let this be the main thing before us – The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

May the Lord Jesus be first (the main thing) in everything you do this season.
